Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons)

4 cups cold water

1 cup ice cubes

Lemon slices and whole strawberries for garnish

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

In a blender, combine the halved strawberries and 1 cup of sugar. Blend until completely smooth and well combined.

Pour the strawberry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher, pressing with a spatula to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the pulp left in the sieve.

Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice to the pitcher with the strawberry juice.

Stir in the cold water until combined. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar, if desired.

Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to an hour to allow the flavors to meld.

When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the strawberry lemonade over the ice.

Garnish each glass with a lemon slice, a whole strawberry, and fresh mint leaves.

Stir gently before sipping and enjoy the refreshing taste of State Fair Strawberry Lemonade!
