2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)

1 cup chicken broth

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Mashed Potatoes:

4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cubed

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/2 cup milk (or more to taste)

Salt to taste

Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:

    - In a large pot, add the cubed potatoes and cover them with cold salted water. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are tender (about 15-20 minutes).
