Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp dried Italian herbs

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 lb (450 g) store-bought gnocchi

2 tbsp olive oil

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 cup baby spinach

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Steak Nuggets:

    - In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

      - In a second bowl, place the beaten eggs.

        - In a third bowl, mix breadcrumbs with grated Parmesan cheese.

          - Dip each cube of steak first in the flour mixture, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture to coat.

            Cook the Steak Nuggets:

              - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

                - Add the coated steak nuggets in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.

                  - Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until crispy and browned, then transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

                    Prepare the Gnocchi:

                      - In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

                        - Cook for about 2 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.

                          - Add the gnocchi and baby spinach to the skillet, stirring gently to coat in the creamy sauce.

                            - Cook for 4-5 minutes until the gnocchi are heated through and the spinach is wilted.

                              Combine and Serve:

                                - Once everything is cooked, combine the crispy steak nuggets with the gnocchi and creamy spinach mixture in the skillet.

                                  - Toss gently to mix everything together.

                                    - Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
