1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon (optional)

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    In a large bowl, combine the green beans, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat the beans evenly.

      Spread the seasoned green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

        Roast the green beans in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they begin to become tender and slightly charred.

          Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the green beans. Return them to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.

            Once done, remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice. If desired, sprinkle with lemon zest and fresh parsley for added flavor and color.
