Ingredients

2 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted, and diced

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust based on sweetness preference)

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Pinch of salt

1/2 cup water

Optional: Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

In a blender or food processor, combine the diced mangoes, strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.

Blend the mixture until smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust sweetness, if needed.

In a small saucepan, bring the water to a simmer over medium heat. Add the blended fruit mixture and stir continuously for about 3-5 minutes until everything is well incorporated and heated through.

Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

Once cooled, transfer the mixture to a shallow dish or a freezer-safe container and cover it with a lid or plastic wrap.

Place in the freezer for about 4-6 hours, or until firm.

Once frozen, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes to soften slightly for easier scooping.

Scoop the sorbet into bowls and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately.
