Method
Cook the Pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Bacon: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the chopped bacon. Cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove the bacon and place it on paper towels to drain the excess fat. Leave about 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in the skillet.
Cook the Beef: In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Create the Sauce: Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Add Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir well.
Add Cheeses: Gradually mix in the cheddar and Parmesan cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of water or additional cream.
Combine Everything: Add the cooked penne pasta to the sauce, along with the cherry tomatoes and crispy bacon. Toss until the pasta is well coated with the creamy mixture.
Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions and fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your loaded bacon cheeseburger Alfredo pasta!
