8 oz (225g) egg noodles or rice noodles

1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3 cups broccoli florets

1 bell pepper, sliced (any color)

3 green onions, sliced (white and green parts separated)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1/2 cup teriyaki sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Cook the Noodles: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the egg noodles or rice noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Stir-fry for about 5-6 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and lightly browned.

      Add Vegetables: To the same skillet, add minced garlic, grated ginger, broccoli florets, sliced bell pepper, and the white parts of the green onions. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.

        Combine Sauce: Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour in the teriyaki sauce and soy sauce, stirring to coat the chicken and vegetables evenly. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

          Mix in Noodles: Add the drained noodles to the skillet and toss everything together. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the noodles are heated through and well combined with the sauce.

            Serve: Garnish with the green parts of the green onions and sesame seeds (if using). Enjoy immediately!
