Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, peeled and chopped

1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1/2 cup water

Pinch of salt

Instructions

Prep the Peaches: Start by peeling the peaches. Cut them in half, remove the pit, and chop them into small chunks.

Blend the Mixture: In a blender or food processor, combine the chopped peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, water, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Taste Test: Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar or a bit more lemon juice if necessary. Blend again to combine.

Chill the Mixture: Pour the peach puree into a bowl and cover it. Place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour. This step helps enhance the flavor.

Churn the Sorbet: After chilling, transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Freeze the Sorbet: Transfer the churned sorbet to an airtight container. Smooth the top with a spatula, seal, and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until firm.

Serve: When ready to enjoy, scoop the sorbet into bowls or cones. Optionally, garnish with fresh peach slices or mint leaves.
