Ingredients

1 lb (450g) ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp mustard (yellow or Dijon)

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups beef broth

1 ½ cups elbow macaroni (or pasta of choice)

1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

¼ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Sauté the Beef: In a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Break it apart with a wooden spoon as it cooks. Drain excess grease if necessary.

Add Aromatics: Stir in the diced onion and garlic. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes, or until the onion becomes translucent.

Season: Add Worcestershire sauce, mustard, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, mixing everything to combine well.

Add Liquid and Pasta: Pour in the beef broth and stir in the elbow macaroni and diced tomatoes. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover and let it cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Cheesy Finish: Once the pasta is cooked, remove the pot from the heat. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream (or Greek yogurt) until well combined and creamy.

Serve: Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and additional cheese if desired.
