Ingredients

2 packages (9 oz each) refrigerated cheese ravioli

2 cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg, beaten

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare Sauce Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the marinara sauce, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, if using. Mix well and set aside.

Prepare Cheese Mixture: In another bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, beaten egg, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Assemble the Casserole: In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread about half of the sauce mixture on the bottom. Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce, followed by dollops of the ricotta cheese mixture. Pour another layer of sauce over the cheese and repeat with the remaining ravioli, ricotta mixture, and the last of the marinara sauce.

Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top of the casserole.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is bubbling and golden.

Cool and Serve: Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving. Enjoy your delicious Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole!
