Ingredients

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup whole milk

1 cup freshly brewed strong coffee (cooled)

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

Optional: chocolate-covered espresso beans for mix-in

Instructions

Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, cooled brewed coffee, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Chill the Mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours, or overnight for the best flavor.

Churn the Ice Cream: Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually for about 20-25 minutes until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Add Mix-Ins (Optional): If you like, fold in chocolate-covered espresso beans during the last few minutes of churning for an extra coffee kick and crunch.

Freeze the Ice Cream: Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and spread it evenly. Press a piece of parchment paper directly onto the surface to prevent ice crystals from forming. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.

Serve: Scoop the ice cream into bowls or cones, and enjoy your creamy, coffee-flavored treat!
