Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix

1 cup crushed pineapple (with juice)

4 large eggs

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup creamy peanut butter

8 oz cream cheese, softened

4 cups powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Bananas for topping (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, crushed pineapple (including its juice), and eggs. Mix until well-blended and smooth.

Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

While the cake bakes, prepare the frosting. In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Once the cake has cooled completely, spread the peanut butter cream cheese frosting evenly over the top.

If desired, sprinkle chopped walnuts or pecans over the frosting for added texture and flavor. You can also slice bananas and arrange them on top for a delicious touch!

Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before slicing to let the frosting set. Serve chilled and enjoy!
