2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon instant yeast

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon olive oil

¾ cup warm water (about 110°F)

1 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup assorted toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, olives, mushrooms, etc.)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Stir well. Add the olive oil and warm water, mixing until a dough starts to form.

    Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic. Place it in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rest for about 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.

      Preheat and Prepare the Sheet Pan: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Grease a large baking sheet (approximately 18x13 inches) with olive oil.

        Shape the Dough: Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Transfer it to the greased sheet pan and stretch it out to cover the entire surface, using your fingers to create dimples all over the dough.

          Add Sauce and Cheese: Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough. Then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top.
