1 tablespoon lime juice

1 tablespoon orange zest

2 ounces vodka (optional)

Whipped cream for topping

A few slices of fresh orange for garnish

In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, lime juice, and orange zest. Whisk until slightly thickened and smooth. Set aside.

In a tall glass, add a layer of ice cubes, then pour in the orange-flavored soda up to halfway.

Add the vanilla ice cream, gently floating it on top of the soda.

If using vodka, drizzle it carefully over the ice cream.

Spoon the tangy cream mixture over the ice cream, letting it cascade down into the soda.

Top with a generous swirl of whipped cream and garnish with fresh orange slices and a maraschino cherry on top.
