Method
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, diced tomatoes with green chilies (with the juice), shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly blended.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as per the package instructions.
Place a generous tablespoon of the cheese and tomato mixture at the wider end of each triangle.
Roll each crescent from the wide end towards the point, ensuring the filling is enclosed within the dough. Pinch the edges to seal them well.
Arrange the rolled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each roll for expansion.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. If desired, sprinkle with fresh cilantro or parsley for an added burst of flavor and color.
Serve warm and enjoy these delicious savory bites at your next party!
