Ingredients

4 boneless pork chops (1-inch thick)

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

Preheat Oven & Prepare Breading Station: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one for the eggs, one for the Parmesan cheese mix, and one for the breadcrumbs.

Season and Prepare Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

Dredging: In the first dish, beat the eggs. In the second dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs. Dip each pork chop in the eggs, allowing excess to drip off, then coat them in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing down to ensure a good coating.

Sear Pork Chops: In a large skillet, heat about 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the coated pork chops and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown.

Transfer to Oven: After searing, transfer the pork chops to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the crust is crispy.

Garnish and Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your delicious crispy Parmesan crusted pork chops with your favorite sides!
