Ingredients
  

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cooking spray or olive oil for drizzling

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

      In another dish, whisk the eggs until well combined.

        In a third dish, combine the panko breadcrumbs and grated cheddar cheese, mixing thoroughly.

          Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Dip each chicken breast first into the flour mixture, ensuring it is fully coated, then into the egg mixture, and finally, coat with the panko-cheddar mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

            Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. If desired, drizzle a little olive oil or spray them lightly with cooking spray to help achieve a golden, crispy finish.

              Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown and crispy. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).

                Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
