Method
Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet, add the chopped bacon and cook over medium heat until crispy. Once done, remove the bacon from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Leave about 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in the skillet.
Brown the Beef: In the same skillet, add ground beef, diced onion, and garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, approximately 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Make the Alfredo Sauce: Reduce the heat to low, then add the heavy cream to the skillet with the beef, onion, and garlic. Stir to combine. Gradually add cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese, stirring constantly until the cheeses are melted and the sauce is creamy.
Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the sauce, followed by the Worcestershire sauce and Italian seasoning. Mix well until the pasta is fully coated in the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add Bacon: Stir in the crispy bacon, reserving a small amount for garnish.
Serve: Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and the remaining bacon. You may also add sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles on top or on the side for a true cheeseburger experience.
