1 scoop chocolate protein powder

1 medium ripe banana

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)

1 tablespoon natural almond butter (or peanut butter)

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of sea salt

1/2 cup ice cubes

Instructions
 

In a blender, combine the chocolate protein powder, banana, almond milk, almond butter, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and sea salt.

    Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds.

      For a colder and thicker texture, add the ice cubes and blend again until the ice is fully incorporated.

        Taste the shake and adjust sweetness if needed by adding a little more honey or maple syrup.

          Pour into a tall glass and optionally top with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or a few banana slices.
