Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the diced chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes or until it's cooked through and no longer pink inside. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
Prepare the casserole mix: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, cream of chicken soup, half of the cheddar cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Stir until everything is well mixed.
Layer the Tater Tots: In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the frozen tater tots evenly across the bottom.
Add the Chicken Mixture: Pour the chicken and bacon mixture over the tater tots, spreading it evenly.
Top with Cheeses: Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top of the chicken mixture.
Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until it’s bubbly and the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
Garnish: Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Top with sliced green onions before serving.
