Ingredients

12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)

1 lb beef steak (ribeye or sirloin), thinly sliced

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1 cup beef broth

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Tortellini:

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the cheese tortellini and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

      Sauté the Vegetables:

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper. Sauté until they are softened and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, stirring frequently to prevent burning.

          Cook the Beef:

Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the sliced beef to the other side. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until the beef is browned. Mix the beef with the vegetables and add the Worcestershire sauce.

              Make the Sauce:

Pour in the beef broth, bringing it to a simmer. Reduce the heat, then stir in the heavy cream until well combined. Gradually add the shredded provolone cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

                  Combine Everything:

Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss gently to coat them in the creamy provolone sauce with the beef and vegetables. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, just to heat through.

                      Serve:

Remove from heat, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve immediately. Enjoy your rich and indulgent Cheesesteak Tortellini!
