Ingredients

4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped

1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled (optional)

1/4 cup balsamic glaze

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Start by washing the watermelon and strawberries thoroughly. Cut the watermelon into bite-sized cubes and slice the strawberries into thin pieces.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed watermelon and sliced strawberries.

Add the chopped mint leaves to the bowl, mixing gently to combine the flavors.

If you’re using feta cheese, sprinkle it over the fruit mixture.

In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic glaze, olive oil, and honey or agave syrup until well blended. You can adjust the sweetness according to your taste.

Drizzle the dressing over the watermelon and strawberry salad. Toss gently to ensure all the ingredients are coated evenly.

Season the salad with a pinch of salt and pepper to enhance the flavors.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve it fresh with additional mint leaves as a garnish if desired.
