2 pounds of chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon lemon zest

Optional: Fresh lemon wedges for serving

Prepare the Marinade: In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, chopped rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon zest. Mix well to form a marinade.

    Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken thighs to the bowl, ensuring each piece is evenly coated with the herb mixture. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.

      Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.

        Air Fry the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure there’s space between each piece for optimal air circulation.

          Cook: Air fry the chicken for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time. The chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy and golden brown.

            Rest and Serve: Once cooked, carefully remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes. Serve hot with fresh lemon wedges.
